Sure don't make them like that today,no need to carry any tools/ spare parts/ no need for a panel beater and the best part no need to holler for O'Brians Glass .

Remember the day when they used to have what was called The Red X Trial.

Apart from the oil rig that could be the Hume highway back in the 50's 60's Couldn't do that with today's rigs

 In case someone wants to Google it the correct name it was Redex Trial.  What characters there were in those events. I recall 'Gelignite' Jack Murray, so named for his penchant to lighting the fuse on a stick of Gelly & tossing it out of the car when belting down the main street of any small town in the middle of the night!  Try that nowdays.
