First couple of days at Greens.

I it is now Friday morning and I arrived here last Tuesday afternoon and after the long trip I am by now relaxing and taking it very easily.

Patty (halfpint) was here when I arrived and will be back camping here later, Billeee and Jules were here and soon Sally (Triple333) arrived. So we have had a good time and last night I started an open fire which we all sat round, Sally put potatoes in foil around the edge and Jules cooked a jaffle. Couldn't have a fire without jaffles so I cooked one and Billeee also got into the act. Had the tripod out and boiled the billy continuously.

Yesterday I washed the bus after some unmade roads and the long trip it was filthy, all clean and shining again. Have been bringing water back to the camp from a tap in the toilet area, it is from the lake and would need boiling to drink but is excellent for washing the bus and clothes, have plans to have a much needed shower later but have already done my washing.

One of our neighbours got caught on the other side of the lake last night when his boat conked out, he was seen by others and his mates drove as far round the lake as possible whilst he bailed out and swam for the shore. The last report we had was that if he could get it back it would be up for sale and they set off back round the lake to get it back after striking camp never to be seen again.

Am having the best time and looking forward to more Grey Nomads joining us, nothing exciting is  happening but it is all good. Having company is better than finding empty camp sites as has been happening lately. Haven't taken any pics but there are several on another 2 threads.    John
