Ohhh the stress of being a full time GN, I now have to decide something after the weekend. I have decided to go camping with my friends here in Daylesford. I have no idea where we are going, somewhere near Castlemaine, on the Loddon River, so I will just follow them and try not to stress too much over the 30min drive.
However that is not the worse of it all. After the weekend, where do I go, what do I do????????
I am going to have to slowly make my way back towards Mount Gambier and Port Fairy for my son's wedding. I want to go to Nhill to see my inlaws, but the dilemma is I really do not want to drive for 4 hours straight anymore. That is just wrong, so wrong. So where to from Daylesford? Do I go an hour down the road to Ballarat, head inland a little further, go to Aarat??????
How wonderful is my life that this is the biggest stress that I have to worry about. I was warned about this kind of stress once I hit the road and now it has hit.
( this is a tongue in cheek post)
However if anyone has any suggestions I will take it all on board. I have about 10 days to get back to the SE of the state.

You really did not have to reassure all of that so often.
..........But then again, from reading some of the complaints directed at the Jaclyn and Heidi advice column of the famous "Grey Nomad Times', maybe you do.
Attaining the pinnacle of GN Excitement with the stress directed where it really matters - which is being constantly at the ready, flute of sparkling chateau cardboard in hand, for fame at the hands of the roving GN photographer.

All this 'stress'!! I know what you mean though, decisions, decisions...the first time I did a really long trip it took me about 5 weeks to get 'into the vibe'!
I think from Daylesford Arrarat is far enough in one day! There you will the other Green Lake, a nice place to park up for a night or 3! Then you can take your time thinking about the next move!
These are the decisions I love!
