New member - introduction

Hello all. My wife Marion and I are new to the site and already have found much helpful information. We are currently on a practice run getting use to the lifestyle. We set out from our home in Perth and are currently at a lovely caravan camp (thanks Wikicamps) with great caretakers and a bunch of very friendly GN in Beerwah in Qld. We came across the Bight and up through Broken Hill, Moree, Toowoomba to the Sunshine Coast. Thinking we'll go home via Winton (Dinosaurs) and Longreach (QANTAS and Outback Museum) then out to the Three Ways and flip a coin (North or South) . Hope to see you all out there on the road. Kind regards Thunderchild69 (Cameron)

Welcome from us also. Just a word of warning, Dougwe is a lovely man but tends to go

off topic for any reason whatsoever, Wombat ( another fine fellow) tries valiantly to bring

Dougwe back on track but he can be hampered and sidetracked by Dazren, who is also a very nice person.

If things go a bit pear shaped Bohemian Gypsy will do her best to sort them out. I don't want to put you

off by any means, these people are really great and have a fount of knowledge to pass on. Actually

this whole forum is full of really helpful people, ask questions and answers will come back.

Sorry, I tend to waffle on the odd occasion.

Kevin

Thunderchild

When you get to 3 ways you MUST turn south and visit the devil's marbels great camp spot, wait for the sunset's, (WOW) when you leave there you can then decide north or south.

I totally agree with Peterpan, you can waffle on as much as you like biggrin

Qantas outback museum is well worth a visit, the largest van park there has free internet connection.

Now in regards to Dougwe, no I had better not say that cos I'll get banned. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Welcome to the forum, there is a free camp the railway line crossover (near the big galah) in the carpark there, but Kimba Caravan Park is also good.
