Christmas at Greens

May I suggest that all the people on the road, head for Greens Lake for Christmas, I am sure there are many travellers who would be at loose ends for the 25th.

Did you realise it is only a little over a month away (35 days)  cry

Just a thought.

I have been here at Greens for about 4 weeks now and will be celebrating Xmas Day with my dear friends, Billeeeeeee, Jules and John (yeoleven) and whoever else wants to join in. I have not stayed so long at one place since I started full time Solo travelling in Feb. There always seems to be something happening, Melbourne Cup Day, John's birthday, nightly get togethers (22 chairs is the record so far) and meeting new arrivals almost every day. I don't post on the forum much at the moment as most of my Forum friends have been, will be or are currently at Greens. I am sure that if you came to Greens you would be welcomed before you had a chance blink. Jules can pick a new arrival from a mile away. I bet that you will have to drag yourself away.

 Gday...

Must be the way they drive down that road into the place ... a dead give-away I'd reckon

Cheers - John

I feel such a dill  .... sorry folks.  cry

I did some back tracking and on page 44 of Solos I found a reference to Greens Lake. I am sure there are more references before that but I did not look.

Dumbass me thought it was a new find.

Sometimes it is months before I read the forum.

My apologies, that will teach me to do my "homework" first before I jump in and post.
