book seat

I'm wondering if anyone has a pattern to make a book seat, I've borrowed this photo from hints and tips and am not sure what the plastic looking piece across the front is.

Looked up google and found the prices range from around $29 to $39 then there is delivery on top. I don't have a Big W near me.

I'm thinking? would a pyramid filled with bean bag beans do the job as good as the one in the photo.

A huge replacement bag of bean bag beans are only $12 in Kmart. Enough to make many, many book seats.

Thanks

Helen

OMG! I'm sorry, but I had to giggle about all those little "beans" escaping all over your caravan
That would be quite a challenge, keeping them under control for small projects like this .... cutting foam to shape might be easier?

Eureka the plastic bit is to hold the book in place so the pages don't turn over. I have had one for a long time and use it when reading in bed if not on the kindle.

And those silly beans get static and then you can't do anything with them.
