We have just returned from Greens, and can confirm there is life in the GN colony.
Th colony is somewhat subdued, and appears to have divided into two smaller colonies which are inhabiting separate nests on the site.
We ignored the advice and tried to feed the natives, and some were veracious feeders, but some were off their food, probably still affected by recent events.
Good catching up with Dave and Carol (plendo) they came out to visit well provisioned for a hearty lunch.
There seemed to be a division in the community, us and them, we had no dogs in our group at lunch time but Darrell's post re dogs at happy hour was under discussion.
Later at Happy Hour the situation was amicably resolved.
Dave's knowledge of lithium batteries was explored and I for one gained from his expertise.
Thanks again Dave and Carol for the lunch your company and expertise.
Yep all quiet on the Western front Doug - all seems well now.
And David and Carol - sorry couldn't spend more time with you, but had made arrangements with my friend (only get to see her once a year) Was great to see you, both looking so well - and the panetone was delicious!!!
See you on the road, maybe up north next year!!!

I was told that the "division" of the group at the time in question, was the topic of conversation - no not the dogs - technical stuff that some have no interest whatsoever in - makes sense to me, I would be bored brainless, no matter who was in the group.
