Hi  ..

Stumbled across an excellent way for removing coffee & tea stains in plastic/melamite mugs ....

Just add a teaspoon of Napi san or equivalent & fill the mug/cup with water.  The stuff that you use in your chemical toilet

Leave overnight & rinse out.

 

I suppose that it would work on china as well.

A tea spoon full of white king in your cup with water , half an hour rinse job done.

I've always used white king / bleach with water added. Been using it successfully for years.

Thanks, HW. I just cleaned my coffee mug with a little bleach in water, left for half an hour and bingo! Clean as a whistle!

Hi , all , I always keep a little container of Bi carb Soda , on the sink , a sprinkle in the cups , and just wipe it all around , and clean cups ! It is also good for cleaning up slightly burnt saucepans , and the microwave , and sink , pretty well anything , really , cheers lyn

It doesn't hurt to wash with laundry powder every now and then. Normal detergent is mainly a grease, oil solvent .
