I have no intention of being anywhere near FNQ during the cyclone season but I do have an umbrella in PJ just in case.

Gary - if you used an umbrella in cyclone season you would be flying through the air like Mary Poppins.

Well Bill your assessment was right and mine was wrong. I didn't think from the information I had it would turn into a full blown Cyclone. I haven't read the news on Nth. Qld. yet, but I hope all is ok for you and family and all people in the affected areas.

Made it to Pomona, and the b.i.l. is working of 4 Harleys in his shed. Most people have one Harley - he has 4! 2 road kings and couple of Project bikes. One of the road kings is a beauty and I wouldn,t mind having it myself. Will probably go out to Harry Springs Hut, on the upper Noosa river to fish for bass over the weekend. Willbein the area for about a week, and then down to Redcliffe for the Broncos vs Cowboys trial game.Give me a pm if you are in the area. See ya soon, Bill.

Went down to Johnnos landing on the Noosa river for a look , and there are plenty of people there, some of them a bit feral looking, but it seems a nice spot down by the river. The last 1 klm or so is dirt, but not too bad.Might try it next time. Going to a barby tnight, and will go up to Harrys hut on the upper nooser. to catch a few bass, tommorrow. The road in is a roughtrack, but it keeps the riff raff out. Will post if I have signal

I take it riff raff can't afford 4WDs, Bill. Anyway, good luck with the fishing.

Well done.

Wooli is a long way in from the highway, not much in the way of shopping centres there that I could see.
