Machine embroidery

I treated myself to an embroidery machine this week and have been fiddling around experimenting. What I have done so far has amazed me but is far from perfect, I will keep practicing.

Thanks to Glenda (Golivers Travels) for her inspiration.

My machine travels with me every time we travel, pays for petrol money!

I do a lot of sew outs before we leave and then sell them along the way.

I have 4 machines, a Janome 9000, 300E, a brother 1200 innovis and my new baby a Janome 12000, it is the brother that travels with me as it sews as well as ambroiders, just incase hubby tears the bottom out of his pants!

Some days at home all 4 are going at the one time, I am looking to sell the 9000 and the 300E as the 1200 does it all.

Have fun with your machine.

Gloria.

By sew outs I mean designs, just like you have already done.

I like to do tea towels, and scenes an put them in frames, Glen Harris has nice ones in one colour thread , of out back scenes etc.

I hope we meet up one day , where are you now?

Gloria.

They look great, but looking a little closer you may need to adjust the tension to stop the bobbin thread coming through to the right side. what brand of machine do you have?

if its a jamone like I have the tension for embroidery is set to 1 or 2 not auto. Hope this helps, keep up the good work.

Marggie and David, no the bobbin thread did not come through it is just at an angle that looks shiny in the photo.
