Inside Piccys of the Grand Villa,

Finally got around to taking some inside happy snaps of my rig,

Foretravel Grand Villa, 1989 model, 300 HP Caterpillar 4 speed Allison Auto gearbox with Lockers in all gears, Hi speed Diff,

On an Oshkosh Chassis with Air bag suspension, Generator has been removed and replaced with solar, Now 100 % self sufficient,

For Power and services, Its all tanked, Nothing goes on the ground, I take it all with me,

I know have a connection into my own septic tank System, So I have my own dump point,

That's one thing I'm gonna miss... a proper easy chair. No room for such luxury in my little rig. Most impressive fit-out, Brian.

Thats how their made Garry, Thats the standard they build too,

After crawling all thru it, Under, over, Even I am quite impressed with the whole Coach,

It was built to last, It will be trundling down the highway long after Im gone, Quite safely,

The chairs are super comfy, I can sleep in all three of them, The smaller chair is just to eat out off, A big butt wont fit in it, Hahaha

The size is irrelevent, Its whether your happy with your van, Thats all that counts, Mate,

I am fortunate that I have the skills to do it, Import and get it roadworthy here, Other wise it would have been too expensive to Buy it,

I now have to sell my boat so I can afford to drive it, Hahahahaha, Have run out of money, Retired and no income, But I do own it all, Hahahaha,

I was looking at a Monarco Motor Home first, Then comparing Piccys of the two Brands, I bought the Grand Villa because it looked better in the Piccys,

My mate imported a Monaco, Similar one to the one I was looking at, I have had a very close look at it, Its local to me,

I think the Foretravel is the better Coach of the two,

I bought mine sight unseen, It wasnt till 8 months after I bought it, That I seen it for the first time, when I picked it up at customs in Footscray,

Its a well traveled Coach, Came from the USA and its been to Japan on the way here, It sat on the docks for two weeks in Japan waiting for another boat to come to OZ,

That was a very Stressfull time, All that money paid out and nothing to show for it, Even the G/F left me, Hahahaha, But that ended up as a Bonus as well, Dont ask,

What I really like on them are the docking lights

( the lights on the side what are fitted down low to get into narrow spaces )

very handy at night

Cheers John
