New (old) GreyNomad

I've been living overseas for the last few years but it is time to retire and I think that Grey Nomading is thing for me. As a single woman without much knowledge of engines or any real idea about anything mechanical, I have no idea how to start looking for a vehicle. My budget is about $15,000 -  $20,000. I intend buying the vehicle in Adelaide and my first trip will be up the center to Darwin. I would also like to take a bicycle. Please tell me what I need to look for. I'm a bit overwhelmed when I check out Gumtree.

Welcome travelafar, enjoy here and out in the playground.

When it comes to what to get and how to do it, it's all a personal choice really so I won't confuse matters.

Welcome from us too travelafar . Check out the Solos section on here and see what some of the solo ladies are travelling in. That might help.
