On our way from Murray Bridge to Mt Barker during Adelaide's recent turbulent winds our awning - which had been securely fastened at all points -was ripped from the side of the van. Fortunately no vehicle was behing us at the time - that 6 m roller could have been lethal!

We didn't want to take the van to the city and I was pleased to find Slades on the 'net, with that magic word 'Mobile'! Brad duly arrived to photograph the damage and sent a quote direct to Ken Tame Insurance; within two hours KT had given the go-ahead. The only wait was a few days (including a weekend) for the awning to reach Adelaide; Chris from Slades was here the following morning, and was quick and adept at installing the awning.

We were impressed by Brad Slade's prompt and professional attention, and by the fact that everything was done right here in Mt Barker.
