Remembering that the Standard Measure of NSW government railways pick handles is not for nautical use.

I stopped looking for a partner many years ago - it's something that "just happens" - it can't be pushed.  When I said rare chance - I meant rare chance of finding a partner - you'd have to be very brave to take me on - I'm a baggage load of interest and confusion - scare any decent bloke.  lol lol lol.

I divorced my first husband and buried the second - beware No. 3 - I may poison him.  JOKING hehe.

I divorced all three Lesley, and No 3 died shortly after (couldn't live without me??biggrinbiggrinbiggrin).

IF (a very unlikely if) I came across another who interested me, it would definitely NOT be a full time or live in arrangement ever again. I LIKE being solo.  I believe that lonely is something you can choose to feel (or not), just as I choose to feel happywink

Years ago when I was a solo between marriages (solo traveller for 20 years) I read a book by a Dianne something called "How To Live Alone & Like It" I have seen others similar since but I think that particular one must have gone out of print, it was a good read.

There are heaps of pages on the subject on this link; https://www.google.com.au/#q=How+to+live+alone

(I was trying to find that book I mentioned, but couldn't)...smile

Not on here, but I am often amazed with why people think I need to have a partner to be happy!!!

I am solo, happy, independent, self funded (still working), I ask for help / advice when I need to and very much appreciate it,  and happy to help anyone I can.

I say I am alone but not lonely, quite a big difference really...just saying how it is for me smilesmilesmile
