Just back from the beach for my trial run. Had a whale of a time at Bell Park CP. Only a few people there this time of year but very friendly and helpfull. The weather was perfect but I needed a blanket about 0400. Had some nice walks on the beach and even had a swim had a good look around for stingers first though. I know that I've had the van since Jan 6th but but there have been problems at work. A number of assults have once again come my way and I was hospitalised for a while(I must have that kind of face), all well now but I had to have some time off to recuperate.
I am starting a new job in April where I will be contracted out by QH to bases on a 3 month basis. So I am looking foward to seeing more of Central Qld and hopefully getting away from the mental health patients I have been put in with lately.
On a really happy note my youngest grand-daughter took her first steps yesterday, if I was a dog I'd need to have 2 tails to wag I'm that pleased.

Bell Park is in Emu Park 35 k east of Rockhampton. Usually a nice breeze shops and restaurants within 500 m. The beach is about 100 m away throuch a council park.
