Using a Gasmate BBQ?

Hi all

Just bought a Gasmate Cruiser II but it comes with no real instructions.

I'm assuming that you use it like a normal bbq for snags and steaks with the lid open and for roasty stuff with the lid closed like a normal oven? hmm

If it's a similar thing to a Webber Q, you cook everything with lid closed.

Maybe ask Mr Google???

Hi Wondererone: -  I also have a Gasmate Cruiser II but have only used it as a BBQ with the lid up.

I have also used it in "on low" with the lid down to keep meat warm until the wife is ready to serve up the rest of the meal.

I'm not sure how it would go cooking a roast as the Teflon plate is fairly thin and might buckle perhaps.

For roasts I use a camp oven.

Cheers - John
