Well that was the idea but without the proper gear Roy decided to have a go none the less.
He made up a sail from remnants in hs van a mast and spar from tent poles then used his canoe for a board. The end reult was hilarious for those fortunate to see his efforts and it was recorded on my camera and Sandra's iPad.
I must admit that Roy got A for effort in my book and I am sure that with the proper equipment would have made a good wind surfer. I couldn't have stood up in the canoe and retained balance I was flat our just sitting in it without falling overboard. John
Hv decided windsurfing is the way to go..anybody know of a 9ft board wiv 4m sail & harness & gear 4sail around or up from this loc stat ..going to try gumtree I'll find somewhere to put it lots of toys boys ....
