Someone gave me this ice-cream recipe other day so I tried it, wow
600ml cream
tsp vanilla essence
tin condensed milk
mix cream till just starting to thicken then add vanilla essence beat until light whipped cream forms, gradually add the condensed milk while beating until nice and creamy. Pour into container and put in freezer . Wa la. Easy.
Enjoy I know we are.
Don't think would be to good on the waist line but then what is.
Have to say, I don't normally put the vanilla essence in my ice cream - just the Violet Crumble Bar. Oh, don't use a Crunchie Bar - doesn't have the same taste as that of the Violet Crumble Bar.
And it is totally a treat!!! Not something you have every night.

Ummm... My favourite is the cheapest home brand ice cream I can get, soften it then add smashed up oreo biscuits and a splash (or ten) of Tia Maria - pour into a ringform cake tin to freeze and cut it like a cake to serve ............ and I wonder why I can't fit into last years clothes .......

This really is a the yummiest ice cream... there goes my diet... I made it and swirled thru some blitzed mixed berries... OMG heaven...if it's got fruit in it it's ok , isn't it !!!????
Masterchef gurus must have read this forum - they had condensed milk ice cream last night. And Fast Ed on Better Homes - had violet crumble bar crumbled over it tonight.
