Will let you know when we're coming in next, Roy. We're about 30 klicks north of you but we often visit Sandra's sister not far up from you. Dougwe is also very close to your location as well. I wouldn't be surprised if you ran into him at Stocklands, about three blocks from you, sometime. Bill12 is another up this way, comes from Magnetic Island.

Got the charter boat out , after some "entertaining" moments.There is quite a ground swell building up. Its overcast and very humid. Tmrow we should see some wind and rain.I think I would rather have Ita Butrose...........Bill

Hey darell & Sandra ...they upgraded me to a concrete block...didn't want me ploughing up their lawn..was happy being on my own in the cheap tent sites..but not complaining ..all we have is cooling breezes & showers .pleasent .been in $ out of stocklands ..just finished off my wuruma to do list..got the privacy screen today.. That's it ..screws working out well darell so well my noisey neighbour needed to know ..so I knew you would be happy for me to pass your knowledge on..ok cya

We had 75mm overnight on Magnetic island , with more to come. I think we dodged the bullet from Ita, but its early days yet.It may cross the coast and reform south of Townsville in a couple of days.Only time will tell. Bill

Only if Ita blows it down south. Don,t laugh-I have had people contact me to see if the island is still here after a cyclone........Considering its an 8 mile trangle of mainly granite, I don,t think its going anywhere,soon. Contact me if you need help. Bill

Behind every cloud..well my silver lining was putting a face to douwe who I kept missing.no longer.with great pleasure with a little help from my friends ( Sandra & darell) I got to meet doug ..no longer are we strangers..lovely surprise from sandra & darell who picked me up & took me to lunch....mmmmmm roast pork. hI troopy, ! Based on information I got from ''Wombat'' ?? He is Not sure about '' The Miners Right'' ? -- However he assures me that Dougwe still has His ''Stilleto's'' ?? As Dougwe was telling wombat about how he had to sleep in his Granddaughters room and it was ''Pink'' AND He was so Happy. Because the room was the same Colour Pink as his Stilleto's, ?? and his Ballerina '' Tu Tu ?? aww aww wink biggrin biggrin

Hope they don't go cancelling my tour of magnetic .it was 1145am had to rush for the bus having you guessed it cancelled the tour..lost my blog so here's another one ..sitting in the pub having a cold one ye ha & I don't really drink beer ...what a lovely place you live in bill ..after arriving & looking for my ride..no ride ..look for office..ask sent to the wrong place..finally find the office & the girl who took my booking.. She rang they cancelled..offered to do it Tuesday no good for me ..so they said they would upgrade me to 2 30 pm so here I am loving the place ....from the bar stool in picnic bay pub..hope they don't **** up the 2/30 another of this beer & I don't think I'll care..
