Well folks, on Sunday we start our cruise across the Pacific.  28 days from Sydney to Seattle.  Then we will spend 2 weeks with friends in Oregon & then board another ship & do a 14 day cruise to Alaska & back.  Be back in Oz 11th. June.  Good news today.  After complaining to Holland America about how we had paid Xamount of $ for our inside cabin & they were now selling a cabin with a balcony for less, they have given us a free upgrade to a cabin with ocean view & $600 to spend on the ship.  I wish all of you to keep safe on the roads, be good (someone can tell wombat how) & I will catch you all here when we return.  Cheers Alice

Yes tests all came back good so doctor & I have agreed that the diagnosis for my temporary blindness is a "medical mystery'. So I am cleared to drive again. Of course if it happens again more investigation will be required. Anyway I don't have to drive until we get back in June. The skipper won't let me drive the boat. Cheers Alice

Sorry Ken but there was such a long queue of people wanting to carry bags for me. Good news this morning - shipping line has given us a free upgrade from an inside cabin to one with an ocean view plus $600 to spend on board. Tomorrow we move to friends' place in Narangba & they will get us to airport Sunday morning.
