We are Grey Nomad newbies off on our first trip. We are from Tasmania but bought our van from NSW and are now heading off to Victoria. Then on to the Great Ocean Road before heading home to Tassie.
We are towing an A-Van Leah pop-top with our Honda CRV. We are not sure how the car will handle the journey but will find out soon.
Hope to catch up with some of you on the Great Ocean Road. Any recommendations or suggestions to help us on our virgin run would be appreciated. Especially regarding good free parking spots and fishing!

I was visiting your home state ealier this year and used Devonport as my base camp with my brother and his wife.
May I suggest you get yourself a copy of "Camps Australia Wide" (current edition 7) maybe even a copy of "Caravan Parks Australia Wide) and "Wikicamps" for your phone. All great and full of great sites and info. I have all three but seem to using "Wiki" more often lately, I like the comments.
Also and even, check out all the different sections of this great forum and join in the fun or ask questions in the appriate sections.
