Gday,The above has now done 2000k and 9 connections and reconns to the same.Absolutely the easiest way to go and no help needed ! The slider mods have worked a treat and as you can see by the side of the A frame scratches they are doing the job,and no noise at all . Very happy John
Chris I had half a D clamp welded on to the tow bar frame so it is attached independant of the towing assembly and had that and the sliders certified by an engineer so that no bastard will give me grief .Neil ,its great mate so much better than my old set up that I had to modify the handle ,this one is about 50 ml clear of the door.John

Please excuse my ignorance but where or at what point does it disconnect from the tug. It looks impressive and I must admit I haven't seen one before, you are certainly impressed by it.
G'day
I have just received am in the process of fitting the McHitch unit, and can only say that it is all that it is advertised to be. Makes coupling very easy, I can now open the Pajero rear door with about 30mm clearence, without the spare tyre lift kit. As I indicated, I am still in the process of fitting the sliders and the lift sections, but that is straight forward. I was able to use the one and quarter inch shank, as I have the same wdh as the pic above. I am very happy with the product and the way that the supplier answered any questions.
