There is another a bit further south on Indian Ocean Drive on the west side called Wilbinga, no power, water or other facilities, and is also shown in Camps 7 under that name.
Good photos Vic but it should be said that the area is on the smallish side and will fill pretty quickly even though it has been enlarged where the motor home is, I stopped there 2 years ago and that area was just being made.
And it is less than 10 km from our place!! It is a very popular stop over, with vans there most nights. Wilbinga ,which has no facilities, is also very popular as you can get right back off the road in the bush.

They have blocked off the entry near the bridge, and now you have to take a long driveway in from further up the road away from the bridge, looking at this driveway, it would be wide and long enough to take extra RV's in a pinch, still close to all facilities etc.

Sufil, what would be the nearest CP to your place, Guilderton? Also the closest shopping point for supplies, Guilderton take-away and mini mart? (I imagine many would stock up elsewhere before getting there, but may need some top up supplies sometime).
Sorry for the delay in replying. Guilderton has a caravan park and a general store/ take away down by the river. There is a roadhouse that doubles as the bottle shop and take away just as you get into town.
Seabird does not have a caravan park but has a general store/takeaway/bottle shop. We are 12 kms from both.
There is another caravan park on Gin Gin Brook road...Willowbrook Caravan Park. it is about 20 kms from us.

Thanks for the info Sue and Phil, a caravan club we belonged to had a GTG at Seabird (hired the community hall) I do remember the local general store did fish and chips in the early evening and they were to die for.
One of the locals told us they had a roster among the locals and preferred to do a weekly run to Guilderton for their supplies and the Sunday Times, apparently a bit cheaper than Seabird, but that may have changed.
Thanks for the distances to the C/P's/Stores will be handy for those wanting supplies or needing CP facilities as a base to visit the GTG.
I have been to both CP's mentioned a few times and would recommend booking for those who want to stay there (Willow Brook get a few clubs in there, although they have plenty of unpowered sites if no powered sites left) and Guilderton is a favourite with kids and families and can get booked out, not sure about unpowered sites but the CP is not all that big during the busy season.
