I have been very quiet lately, this is due to family stuff, flying to places rather than driving and now house sitting. I have been catching up on all the news, and rather than answer individually all the interesting postings and where eveyone has been I am going to make a general observation.
To all the single ladies out there, Wow, you are doing great and enjoying life. Fran, I am so sorry for your problems, just what you don't need, but you have handled it so well, and you are inspiring. To the others that are just starting out, moving forward, and just out there doing it, fantastic. Enjoy life, as so many of us know it is too short at times and there is so much to do and see. Love seeing people doing stuff and having a ball.
There are the men who are moving forward with their lives also. Congratulations fellas, it will be a very interesting Greens later in the year with all the new rigs and new faces. Not sure how a certain someone will fit into his little patch of green now, might have to get more lawn seed out and extend the white picket fence. No prizes for guessing who that is, great to see it all coming together.
Of course all the lovely couples on this forum who are making their way around this wonderful land and having a grand time doing it. We are so privileged to be able to do this in whatever form it takes.
I am in the middle of updating Miss Daisy's adventures from when I was in Grafton, if my memory will allow it, so will give a posting later in the week. At present I am house sitting, and this morning sitting in the sun on a deck overlooking the canal, it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful.
Have fun everyone, enjoy your day with whatever you are doing and make it an extraordinary one. Just cos you can.
Hello there Sharon - great to hear from you again. 'Sitting on the deck overlooking the canal' - doing it tough hey!!! Keep in touch with us to let us know where you are up to. Keep well and happy camping - in your case - happy house sitting.
Hi shekon, I have missed reading your posts. Glad to see you back. It sounds like you have it made today, "sitting in the sun on a deck overlooking the canal". It's a tough life...but someone has to do it.
Hi Sharon, Sall here, Bob and I are heading to Greens for the first time for Christmas and we are hoping that we can meet all of the nutters there, so excited. Getting the new van in a few weeks, then time to say tara to the kids and setting off straight after. Hope we can still meet up for coffee and a chat before we go.
Hi Shekon
I am missing your wonderful posts too......so descriptive they take me to where you are.
I am taking summer 'off' the road, parked up in my friends driveway (Altona Mdws area) and volunteering through the heat of summer so as I can be sure of keeping the wizzie ones safe in the heat....we will definately be back out on the road come spring!

Hope you are keeping an eye on "Flat Towing" in "General Section" Sharon. Great info popping up there. Could be worth a peek. Have the note pad ready. Although I think you will have a good adviser on your team.
