Welcome Geeman - enjoy your Winnebago - I'm sure someone will answer your query.

Join in the forum, read all the sub forums, ask your questions, reply to people, join in some of the fun things like "Pick this Place" in General Forum, or "Who is this" on the I Digress forum. Read the get together forum - see if anyone is going to be in your area - arrange a coffee meet up. - Great life, we have friends all over this country, that we have met through The Grey Nomads!! Best forum going.

For insurance - shop around - outfits like CIL (who specialize in caravans), SGIO, GIO etc. Suggest you keep away from the discounter firms - they generally get difficult if/when you have to make a claim.

For roadside assistance - go on-line and look at the various motoring groups. I found WA's RAC to be the worst. Their cost was about $400 a year and you got premium assistance in WA, but only basic (which means metro areas of cities) in all the other States. You don't have to live in that particular State to buy a package deal from any of them - so check them out and make sure what do they pay for and what service will they provide if you are out of their home State.

Nice looking home you have - enjoy your new found freedom:))
