My name is Raima (pronounced Rhyma) and my dearly beloved's name is John. Our surname can cause you to get your tongue twisted but no worries, it is Menhinnitt. So, we sold the house, downsized the business, bought our Universal 'Crystal River' 24 foot Caravan and are currently settled into Scarborough Holiday Village in Redcliffe Qld until mid February 2015. During that time we will be doing a towing course because we think it is vital that we get as much 'knowledge' of our new lifestyle, Caravan and tow vehical as we can.
We are so new to this, everything is a great learning curve and so far we have met awesome people who are only to willing to help us if they can, and given with a smile. I have taken to this like a duck to water, John still finalizing his exit from our business and allowing the next generation and our long and trusted staff members to continue on, and with technology today we are only a call away. I have a question to ask, and would appreciate feedback if possible. We are looking to buy a Izusu D-Max as our tow vehical. By the research I have done is certainly fits the capability for our requirements. And I guess we will need a few 'essential extras'. Has anyone out there got one? What are the for and against with them. We would really appreciate any comments. Thank you in advance. This is (as my heading suggests), Daunting, but we are determined to embrace our new lifestyle and learn from others who themselves started at the beginning. Cheers Raima.
Welcome to the gang Tallismen, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Now, a couple of things,
Firstly, you say you downsised your business. Niw that you are a GN I bring to your attention that you can only work between the hours of 10.00am and Midday but dur to GN union rules you must also have a 1 hour break so be very carefull as you could end up in the naughty room without rations.
Next, I am glad you expained what your Den is as I was starting to think your mode of transport was that in your AV
Don't be afraid to ask questions in the appropriate section of this great forum.
Whatever you do or wherever you go, enjoy.
