Hi everyone. Today I received extremely bad news and it is the very worst day of my life. I am all alone and having a very bad time of it. I cannot bring myself to say what, sorry but I am all alone and really needed to log on here and have a chat, even if it to myself. Hope you are all having a much better day.
Cheers John

I've been trying to pay my Rego. on-line tonight, and things have changed. No can do . When I got my new Debit Card, I wasn't too impressed with that Wave business, so my bank gave me an Eftpos Card instead. I can still use it at ATM's, and in stores, but not on-line, so tomorrow I have to use more fuel to go back in to town to the the Post Office to pay it. I was just in there for food today.
Wow, thanks guys and gals for the quick replies. It means a lot
What have you all been up to today.
Cheers, John
Hi John, getting the van ready to leave tomorrow for 10 days. Had Physio on my shoulder after rotator cuff repair and she said my shoulder is going very well and gave me exercises to do while away.
Approx. 5 days free camping and 5 days in Loxton SA as part of a travel auction I bought.
Been running around organising a new chemist for my mum. All done. Had lunch with a great group of people at the RSL, and then this evening had a hot stone massage. It was pure bliss and I transported to a very peaceful beautiful spot. Chilled out now, but really need to go to bed, just can't be bothered getting ready to go.

I am fun and adventure. So much to see, so much to do, so many people to meet. Will see, do, and meet all that I can.
I took my elderly father (88) out to lunch as I do each week, he's got alzhiemers bad now and in nursing home but likes a drive around. He's about to be moved as he's a risk to staff lately.
Then visited my mother in law in nursing home (93) and going blind quickly and can hardly walk, a bit sad for her also.
Then played a bowls club championships singles and had a good win, almost in the final now.
Getting ready now for a throat operation tomorrow (2nd one in 2 years).
Life goes on and we should make the most of each day as best we can.
Cheers Baz

Hi John - hope by now you are feeling a bit better, and coping with your problem. Sometimes all you need is to chat to someone, that is the beauty of this forum, friendly people, a lot of whom have been through some tough times, which often gives them empathy with others in trouble.
A problem shared, is a problem halved - take care - see you on here again.
Hi Meetoo, Sorry to hear you are having a hard day. Life sure does throw some curve balls at times. Thankyou for coming on here and sharing. We are not such a bad lot. regards rocket n strop
Speaking of hard days, anyone interested in details about my faecial compaction problems last night? No? Oh, well... Honestly, I have a much better appreciation of what women go through with childbirth now.
Anyway, John, I hope you're feeling better. There's always a poz side ya know. In fact I'm gonna write a poem now called Hoo Roo Yesterday's Poo.

The positive side to your experience is that you are not a wombat.

I admire a person who knows how to spell diarrhea, John. But I had the opposite problem... until this morning, that is. As to wombats, all I can say is thank goodness they don't lay eggs. As it is, they make life unnecessarily difficult for dung beetles.
