Weather, the weather gods are really hitting us hard here at Greens this year, literally about 30 mins ago. Yep, the weather gods were playing ice thoughing and we got hit.
Shut the front gate!! Give us a break please weather gods, PLEEEESE. I have never witnessed so much rough weather here at greens. At least this lot didn't have much wind and I sat under the awning watching it all until a little wind started blowing it in under.
I hade the dealer of the new van out this morning up on the roof and hopefully sorted the leak out. Been an hour now of rain and all good so far....fingers crossed and anything else that will cross, fold, double up etc etc.

Hey mate where are the photos of this unusual spectacle??? Just so you don't feel bad its been hailing and raining like I have never seen here in NOT SO SUNNY Milton.
I have had enough water inside John during the previous two storms. I did go out but not armed with camera. I leave that up to you as you are our resident photographer here at Greens. The other thing is, as you know, there are those that don't think our travelling etc is worthy of talking about.
To be honest I didn't think about it. Too busy looking for those horrible leaks. All good so far, still.

So what do you guys at Greens (or anywhere for that matter) do to keep yourselves amused during inclement weather (leaving the naughty stuff aside for the moment)? I bought a box fitted with various board games in case of such eventualities. And a pack of cards. I thought about a billiard table and table tennis but figured that might be going a bit over the top. So, tell me how you pass the time when the weather's crook.

Gary I have no problem with inclement weather I have a large hard drive filled with movies and TV series that I watch on a lap top and usually am reading a book.
I set up the TV when i arrived here 5 weeks ago and have yet to watch a program.
Planning the next weeks blog and forum post also takes up a lot of time.
Board games on your own lacks appeal but I have met many couples playing cards and board games.
Gary - when the weather is unkind, we play on our computers, talk, sometimes I read, but never bored. If it goes on for more than a day, and the solar is a bit sick, we might put the genny on and maybe watch a movie from our media player, if we can agree on one!

We are all doing well - the weather is not really worrying anyone I don't think. Dunworkin is parked the other side of the boat ramp, well away from the mudhole with his new van.
Hope you and yours are well, and looking forward to Christmas - see you soon!
