WINNEWS Bendigo came to Corop today to interview people about the closure over the New Year period.
I was asked if I would like to be interviewed, as well as the shop owners and some customers who fish at the lake. They came here to our "paddock camp", and asked a few questions, took some film of our vans etc. So if you watched WINNEWS Bendigo tonight, you may have seen me for all of about 4 seconds!!!!!
My moment of fame!!!!!

so I am assuming that everyone left on time and without protest which is why they needed to interview you???? I think that is probably a good thing - for the police as well. You know that the 'anti-free cam 'grumpy CP owners will be upset that there is ANOTHER free camp in competition to them once they see the news - even though it is a very temporary thing! They probably wanted you all in Parks for 3 days! Hey - maybe they wanted the lake shut LOL - just a thought.

BG - I think my face has been on this forum far too often for people to not know what I look like!!!!!
And Spida - yes all was very peaceful, we left just after 12 noon - and most had gone by then - looks very empty from the Rochester Road, but we are happy here in our "paddock camp". The nearest CP is at Rochester, and I don't think he has any worries about us, he always has people in there.

I just caught the end of the report, Not real sure who I saw, it was shown again later as a news extra. Least the local shop keepers like the campers.
Wondering now if I ever will get there.
Been doing lots of autographs Jim, and most are back - some missed out on their spots, but parked the other side of the ramp. We got our spot. Road opened at about five to twelve.
Coming up?
