Hi everybody, I just want to make clear that Billeeeeeee has chosen to leave the forum of his own accord. He has been a longstanding member – and quite a lively character! - and his contribution will be missed by many. People coming and going is part and parcel of any forum. Some leave, or take a break, for their own reasons or because their needs have changed. That is all good and totally understandable. I wish Billeeeeeee well in all his future travels.

Thanks for your post Cindy, Billeeeeeee has just said that if anyone wants to contact him, do so on his email, facebook or mobile! His reasons for leaving are his alone, but I can say that the reason has nothing to do with forum administration.

Hi Lesley, Of Course it is still the place to Go !! It still has All the Charm and Ambience that was the reason so many where drawn to it in the first place, and in some respects it is a better place, when the number of people are a little less, ? I for one would Not stay there over Xmas or Easter, ? Still a lot of Nomads there some more will leave , some more will come, and quite a few will return,
A person or people DO NOT make Greens Lake what it is. To me and many I should think it is the lake itself. Fresh water is a big attraction to me, to swim in, to drink (once filtterd or boiled), to use for washing and filling water tanks. Then fantastic weather (most of the time) great sunrises and sunsets to write about an photograph and has been many times. The GN's and other people are a big bonus and many friendships have been and will continue to be formed here.
Dazren is right (for once ) people come and go all the time for whatever reasons. Some leave for health, some leave cos they have had enough, some leave cos they need to keep moving right along and others leave maybe because of itchy feet. Me, if I get itchy feet I just scratch them and stay
If you haven't been to Greens yet, you must, just to say you love the place or maybe even don't like it.
Whatever you do, enjoy and keep safe.
