New Member Intro & Question

Hi There

About to take off around OZ but uncertain whether it's worth it to carry two bikes on the back of 'Whimsy' our Winnebago. Any thoughts to help us make a decision?

Welcome to the gang Whimsy, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Bikes hey, my concern would be, because they are on the back of your Winne someone could tell you to "get on ya bike".

Whatever you decide, enjoy and keep safe.

Hi Whimsey, also new to this Forum. We took our Bikes on a 10k trip from bris thru Alice , Adelaide back to Brisbane. So much to see
however the bikes did not get off the carrier.
Doing WA from April and will take them again. Maybe they will get used this time.
Get a shower cap to cover the seats as they get very dusty and absorb what ever rain you may encounter
Enjoy

Welcome from us too but we are 'bikeless'. Enjoy yours though.

Thanks for the input. We have decided to leave the bikes at home because we generally are walkers and don't use the bikes much at home... So probably won't when travelling. Plus, don't need the extra concern. Taking off next Monday and heading south from Wollongong to do a lap of the oz map. Really excited to finally see a big chunk of oz. We call our rig 'Whimsy' so if you see us around please say hi!

Happy touring.

Alison
