CYCLONE DEVELOPING OFF KIMBERLEY COAST with UPDATES AS THEY COME IN.......


Looks like W.A. is in for it's first Cyclone of the Season............

BLUE Alert for people between Kuri Bay and Mardie in the Kimberley and Pilbara

A BLUE ALERT is current for people in or near the coastal and inland communities between Kuri Bay and Mardie in the Kimberley and Pilbara. 
 
This includes people in ****atoo Island, Derby, Cape Leveque, Beagle Bay, Broome, Bidyadanga, Wallal, Pardoo, De Grey, Port Hedland, Whim Creek, Wickham, Karratha, Cape Preston, Mardie and surrounding areas.  
 
 
CYCLONE DETAILS:   
As at 8.52am the Bureau of Meteorology advises a tropical low is estimated to be 190 kilometres west of Argyle and 220 kilometres north northeast of Fitzroy Crossing.  
 
It is moving west southwest at 18 kilometres per hour.

UPDATE .... CYCLONE DETAILS:   
As at 2.52pm the Bureau of Meteorology advises a tropical low is estimated to be 135 kilometres north of Fitzroy Crossing and 235 kilometres east of Derby. 
 
It is moving west southwest at 18 kilometres per hour.

yep - great for the Eastern States as they will get lots of rain - none in Perth or SW WA
