RE: Roberry on the high seas

Just checked price for two returns in recliner chairs with car ...$856, plus whatever spent waiting/on board so probably not much change from $1000. It costs me say $300 for taxis to airport and airfares and say $60/day so break-even is around 10 days. So rule of thumb ... for two people going for two or more weeks, then it is more cost effective to go on the ferry. For those who suffer sticker shock it's worth remembering the car freight is only a small portion of the costs.

Hi Rosie

Where in Aust are you that you can get such quick such a quick specialist referral - most be a country area???

Were you happy with the outcome of the medical work?

We dot need it at the moment, but curious for maybe future use............

Sunshine Coast.  Landsborough GP referred me to a haemotologist, who diagnosed me, sent me a copy of her letter, and told me I needed to see my GP for a further referral to another specialist for a further issue she discovered during the tests.

THAT specialist (rheumotologist) may take longer, as I am going public, but still, I never even got to a haemotologist after 25 years of asking questions in Tassie.
