Hi, my son was given an ipad due to the fact he has a severe disability. It was accidentally dropped yesterday and now the ipad air will not launch any apps or go to the home page or to settings. I could take it to the local apple store but I am a bit cynical and fear they will say, please come up with another $8oo that we don't have. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix it or what to do? He really needs the ipad to communiate. it had an "survival" case on it but clearly that wasn
It enough. It fell about 50cm. Any help would be appraciated.
Hi CapnJak,welcome to the forum, I too have an apple Mac and have found the apple store (Chermside)very honest and reliable .If that was my mac i would
take it to the apple store,it can't hurt and they will tell you exactly what "s wrong with it.It could also be a quick fix.
Take it into the genius bar at apple and just tell them that when you tried to start it up you had that trouble .
Thank you for your hopeful reply Bluesman. I was told that they would probably just want me to buy a new one and that apple really was designed to be disposable. (Nice if one can afford it) I shall take it to Castle Hill and try my luck. Kind regards CapnJac
