Heads up re thefts at Aysons Reserve

Ok, so Aysons is about 23kms from Greens, but last night 2 generators and a set of folding solar panels were stolen. One genny was tucked right under the caravan. Friends of mine are staying there, and this happened a year or so ago too. Webers weren't stolen. At Greens I know of gas bottles being stolen last year around this time.

So perhaps just be mindful incase there is a gang on the lookout to make some quick cash out of your much needed items.

hmm does not matter where you are, !! A small HIGH TENSILE chain on the Weber and Gas bottles should keep them safe, Genny's and Solar Panels, WELL !! it would be VERY foolish not to lock them away out of sight, Overnight, hmm

This also happened a few weeks back when a young couple cased out both locations over a weekend then returned during a week night and removed a few generators etc. Unfortunately for them someone at Greens noticed them early in the morning, took a pic of their car, with no number plates by the way and rang the local sherif.

The Sherif, from Echuca actually, arrived with no possy but took details etc. He mentioned Aysons had been hit as well.

Obviously not the sharpest tools in the shed this young couple with two kids in tow, as the Sherif was driving down the road and a car looking very similar to the one in the pic went past, about faced and pulled said car over. Mmmmm, what are these generators in the back of the car said he?

Now these two, with kids in tow, I reckon are a couple of bright sparks for sure.

The generators found homes later in the week and I'm sure the happy couple will be introduced to the local magistrate in the very near future.

What a great start to life for the kids and more than likely what hope have they got? I just hope they see the light and take a better path than the two adults with them. Long as the light is not lit by a stolen generator they might have hope.

Been tossing up what to do with the solar panels, they can go on the vans roof permanently , then its one less item to secure & store.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same couple that did Aysons last weekend!

Ive got overkill lock and chains on the stuff I value.... I didn't used to, only the last 2 months, just as well really! But my genny is never left out, mainly because I rarely use it but also cos they're not cheap!
