Hi Ken & Ann, we did that trip last year, stopping at many of the towns in W.A. all with good results, can recommend the following Big4 Katherine, Mataranka springs, Wycliffe wells as good places to stay down the Stuart Hwy oh amd you must stop at Daly Waters Hotel (Caravan park) its a hoot.
Daly Waters Pub = My mate was there recently (a wide load pilot) and rocked in for one or three cold ones - meanwhile somebody knocked off one of his wheels (tyre and rim) so beware "Lock up your gear and your daughters !"
Hi Ann and Ken.Lesley and i left NQ mid September our a circumnavigation with no time limit.Currentlt at Milang Lake S.A.Heading for Cudlee Creek later this week then Port Augusta etc.We may catch on the way.Have a great time.
