We are having an exodus from Wuruma, Rod and Roy leave today for pastures greener, Kieran is moving up to the Heights.

Have some Pics for the who's who thread but can't get them from the camera to the tablet until the USB adapter arrives,

Paul the forecast is for colder mornings but this morning I set off for my paddle at 6.50am and it was 12 degrees, might have to sleep in if it gets colder.

The plan is to go out with Kieren tomorrow with the chain saw and build up the wood supplies, we have een having happy hours in the evenings round the fire. Jaffles and mrshmellows have been the order of the day.

John

Can anyone currently at Wuruma Dam advise the condition of the dirt (gravel?) 'shortcut' Cynthia Range Road - I'm planning a stopover on Saturday on my way home from Brisbane and my Hema has created a route which uses that road. Is it suitable for a Hino bus or should I stick to the asphalt and take the long way round?

Cheers
Joe

 hi Joe,

the first bit over a couple of grids then for about 100 metres is the worst, having said that I take my coaster that way evrytime.

We are camped just below the amenities blockand look forwar to seeing you,

Electrician arrived

But....!

He needs to contact Panasonic  co  to purchase a new computer boars ,

i need to wait to find out if we can set a board .

failing that it's a new air conditionet.

I should know in a few days.

in the mean time  more yard jobs are being attended to ,

i would rather  be kicking back resting at Moura than here.

With my luck my legs will give way as soon as I return to the camping thing.

cheers from  Paul
