Hello ,My name marie, and have just joined , We live in Q.L.D Brisbane, and this is our first long trip away we left in Fab, and need to be home late April for a few months, then it off again,My Hubby was not very keen on free camping ,but to shut me up he agreed to try one or two, well he is now hooked, just loves them ,our last one was in Forbes,N,S,W, right on the lake for two days. just magic, left Forbes yesterday and stayed at The show ground in Narrabri,
on our way to this little gem of a place, just outside Inverell, called Tingha gems Caravan and camping park, it is in the middle of an old tin mining town and you can also do some gem fossicking lots of birds, and so beautiful and peaceful, so if you like to look for gem stones well this is the place it has a great history , we had only planed to stay for two nights but i think we will stay a little longer i have taken some photos , that i would love to share could some please tell me how to do this , i will only be to happy to share more info about this little town and park ,
Welcome to the gang Gypsy Lady, enjoy here and out in the playground.
As for the pics, go to "advanced editor" and click on "attach file/s".
Make sure you first copy the pic and reduce the file size. I usually reduce to about 25% original size. The forum can't cope with big file size pics and will actually stop you posting. The way it tells you is, it just takes forever and nothing happens.
Hope you can work it out from there.
Do not post here though go into "share photo's" or maybe even "general". you can add some info about each pic as well.

When we get home will try your suggestion, well we were to move on a couple of days ago but this place is so peaceful.and for the first time since travailing with our dog as there are only a few vans here he was allowed off the lead as the park is well fenced, we had little worry of him wondering off, and the good part is that the other three dogs all had there owners pick up there poop, if you want a fire at night the care taker has these little wheel barrow, containers ,that you can use, it keeps the ash in ,so in the morning you can throw the ash onto a pile in his garden, that way it keeps the park clean from left over fires and holes, he has also made a special fit pit for for anyone to use as well, this place has so much history, we will return here when we head off again down south,
