Hi Grey fox, road from Gin Gin to Eidsvold via Mt Perry is sealed, and then sealed to Monto,if you take the shortcut via Rosslyn this is partly sealed
The roads are a little hilly but certainly not a problem.

I THINK I did read there is a bridge washed away in that area but cant find any reference, maybe check with info centres or cop shops when on road.
I travelled these roads 2014 and they were in good condition then.

Have a good trip cheers Baz

A good made road all the way - hilly, but that is to be expected, there is a detour to Eidsvold, because of road closure, maybe this is the washed out bridge. The detour brings you out near the Ceratodus free camp - very, very popular at the moment, probably 30 vans etc., in the other night when we went through. From there it is straight up the highway to Monto - or you could come in to Wuruma Dam and say hi to the Wuruma Heights mob, near the fish restocking shed.

I am at Mingo Crossing at the moment for a week. It is only 26km from Mt. Perry, dirt road in good condition and is $26 a night. Fishing here seems to be good (for some).

Eidsvold to Mt Perry to Gingin - really good road. Undulating but sealed. Did it today. Langley to Mt Perry is shut - bridge washed out.

Where you going spida? Wuruma Dam - thinned out a lot, but Keiron - (Lockieandme on this site) is there, up top near the fishing club - his dog Lockie is unmistakable - border collie, black and white, one blue eye, one brown.
