A few from our latest Trip.

Just arrived back home in Melbourne after a 3 week trip up the Cobb Hwy as far as Booligal then across to Hillston & down the Kidman Way. Loved the flatness of the Hay Plains & the wildlife/birdlife was great.

Love your photos. Will have to travel the Hay Plains one day slowly. Hate to think how many times I've been on them and have always found them very boring, they go on for a looong time.

We took our time staying a few nights at Wanganella Camp Park & Booroorban Hotel Campground both lovely places to stay. Traveling through at 100kph looking at white lines on bitumen gives you no idea of what the area has to offer. Our motto is '' YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THERE UNTIL YOU'VE STAYED THERE FOR A FEW DAYS''. A great region of OZ to be enjoyed slowly.

The ''Homestead'' is actually the historic old One Tree Pub, a Cobb & Co stop in the past. It's about 40kms above Hay beside the Cobb Hwy. Privately owned & only open to the public for events like vintage car rallies. The car was in a paddock along the Hay-Maude Rd.
