I agree - the Pilbara is superb.
I hope you have plans to go into Karijini National Park. The campground at Dales Gorge is pleasant and the walks available in Karijini are brilliant.
We worked up that way for 6 months, a few years ago. Spent a Sept to Dec at a work site about 100kms sth of Port Hedland, so looked at the sort of scenery you are showing, every day. I loved it.
Then we spent Jan-Feb at a work site tucked away about 50kms south of the Hillside/Marble Bar road, close to the railways. That was a more rugged area. But the weather there isn't very friendly from about October on!

I couldn't get enough of WA Sharon. I've got to go back.

Hi Shekon,

The 3rd photo just did it for me. smile In my mind this is the perfect image of the outback. White bark against a vivid blue sky with the flaming reds as contrast.  It's so very beautiful.

Is it normal to have grass there or is it just green at this time of year?

Can you tell me, are the mounds ant hills or rocks?

Thanks for your photos.

Panther.
