"Yep" after spending Months looking for a model Caravan to add to my collection of cars,
I called into Kmart today to buy a pair of new strides, I had to walk past the Toy Section and there they were, not many only 4 on the shelf, but one did a quick trip through the Check-out before SWMBO spotted it.
Here it is, although not a fantastic model but, after looking so long, anything is better than nothing.............
Hi Lynda, That's the disappointing thing about this cheap model, there is nothing inside it at all, sure hope you find a caravan with the layout you like, there's a very big selection out there, take your time and don't listen to all the Bull the Salesmen try to sling you,
K.J.

"That's Right" T. R. You go right ahead and ruin my day !!!
Well, lets see your latest grab from Kmart, not really interested "huh hummmmm " just a bit curious
( 'Yer Right James", jealous as all buggery)
If this keeps up, I might have to move to the other side of the Country, like Qld, where the good stuff seems to be,
Cheers K.J.

I've still got my micro-models (dinky toys?) and matchbox caravans from the 1950s. I know exactly the box they are in but no idea where it is despite the fact that I had it out about 6 months ago.
Went to The Award RV Superstore yesterday (Ferntree Gully). They had a few die cast models, including the one at the start of this topic. Also saw some man-sized chairs (120 & 150 kg - basically same chair construction but two different widths) with adjustable headrests.
Didn't buy it. The pic is from the website. I have about 400 die cast models (cars, trucks & motorbikes) with nearly 300 on display in various cabinets throughout the house. There are 100 still in boxes in a cupboard. I'd be struggling to find a spot for anymore - cupboard or on display. All sizes from matchbox up to 1/18 scale.

Well, if you have too many ???
how about some photos so we can all drool over them ?

That's a very nice collection you have there Spydermann,
I like the third cabinet in that lot, those old delivery trucks are one of my favourites , I have a couple of dozen of them, somewhere among my collection, they're one item you could collect for years and still not have two the same ,
I had another bit of luck recently, at the Sunday Markets again, I scored a couple of Matchbox presentation boxes, with 6 models in each,
unopened and in first class condition, not bad for $ 10.00 each, I'll post some pictures of them shortly.

"WOW" What a collection you have there Spidermann,
I see you have another lot that I also collect, that is the fire engines, there are some great models amongst that lot , some I haven't seen before as well, have you managed to get your collection insured, haven't had any luck this way, the insurance company that we have contents cover with said they would cover my collection under that policy, but it was up to me to keep a record and value of each and every item in my collection, man what a job that will be.
Here's my latest grab from the Markets, the two boxes of match box toys..................
Got both of those sets. One is packed away and the other is in the first pic. My grandson (aged 5) likes looking at them all. Gives me a hard time because I won't get them out for him to play with although he has a big box of die cast toys here. I'm a sucker for the Ford GT40 so I have quite a few of them. It's an iconic car especially when you consider in was built in a shed in the UK the 1960s and did over 200mph - just to annoy Enzo Ferrari.
