The shower floor saga continues

Hi all

just a quick update. As you may remember we had some nasty cracks in the floor of our shower.

I have applied fibreglass and 2 coats of flowcote around the cracks and it works. The area around the cracks has strengthened vastly and the floor actually feels solid underfoot.

Next step is to wait for summer and cover the whole floor in glass and flowcote. It has taken the floor from about 2mm to 5mm thick and as I said feels more robust. I have proved that fibreglass will work on ABS plastic and come up with a good result for my caravan. There are no ill effects from the fibreglassing materials or flowcote

Thanks to the people who gave me a hand on this one, without this forum I would never have known about flowcote.

Cheers

Does the flowcote have the colour in it. does it match the existing floor or do you cover the whole floor with flowcote to match the colour.

The flowcote I got was just a wee bit whiter than the floor so it's a near match. When I glass the whole floor it will then match lol
