Jayco Heritage, is there a conversion for the L shaped lounge/dining into additional bed?

Has anyone carried out a conversion on a 19' Jayco Heritage or similar, so the L shaped lounge/dining can be converted into an additional bed for a child?

Is there a kit available? Has anyone ever seen a conversion carried out?

With our previous older model Statesman Van the kitchen table was able to be lowered so it formed a base for the bed which utilised the seating cushions as a mattress...quite nifty.

Our granddaughter travels quite a lot with us and we currently only have single beds and she's growing like Topsy....thanks in advance...

Our 2014 Jayco Discovery Outback came with a spacer to lower the table...and a mattress to fill in the space. Pretty sure it is (was?) standard with all "L" shaped dinettes in Jaycos.

 Hi Goldfinger

I had a pop top with the L shaped lounge and converted it to a extra bed,I removed the centre pole from the table attached a fold down leg to the table top underneath on one corner lowered the table top to the L shaped seat unfold the fold down leg and there you have it ,just add a Piece of foam to fill the gap, hope this helps ,pretty basic.when you want your table back just do it all in reverse.

Friends of ours have a Jayco with an L shaped dining seating. They bought a telescopic table leg from a marine (boats) shop, apparently these are common in yachts and launches. You also need to get an infill matrass made up.
