First find a pic you want to use or maybe google forum avatars then save it.
Second sign into forum, open your profile, click on avatar in L/H side then add your pic.
Make sure if your pic you reduce the file size to about 25%.

Welcome from me also John. I have sent you a private message but just in case you can't find it I was letting you know you are posting photos in an old photo competition that finished over a month ago.
There is a section further down for showing your photos.
We all have problems navigating the site at first but it's all a learning curve.
ok worked it out totally my fault if nothing else I learned how to enter and download pics into a finished competition, guess have to start somewhere cheers John
