kinda new

Hi there, we have been on the road since January  2014 and travelled about 45 thousand kays. We have  been working in North Qld since July and  live in our Aussie Swag camper trailer, which we love. We like to get off the track when we are on the road  (so to speak ) and have started looking for a caravan. I joined the forum in the hope of getting some advice from more seasoned vanners. I choose not to tow any greater weight than 2.4 tonne, and would like to be able to get to the quieter locations, we love to go remote and self sufficient.  So I am looking at pop tops around 18 foot, ensuite and independent suspension a must, I definitely need clearance. I will be following many aspects of the forum as I have a keen interest in all things related to being on the road. Thanks in advance to those like minded travelers who's topics I may gain info from. Welcome to the forum Dewberry we trust you will enjoy your time here and out in the big playground.

I would be a bit concerned about doing too much off the beaten track with a pop top as I have yet to see one solid enough for off road use and saw what corrugated road did to one last year in the N.T sorry don't have much knowledge of quality off road vans, good luck I hope you find one that suits you.
