My wife and I have been around once many years ago when the children were under ten ,now over thirty, we bush camped (as in tents)as much as posibble for 18 months, best life experience we and I our children have ever had.
Now its time to crank up and do it again ,but first some practice ,we are looking at a Kingdom Kensington 2012 in excellent condition to be towed behind our incredible DMax ,this we will use for the next couple of years for trips before we fully retire.
If it stands up to our needs we will travel with it or upgrade.
My question to all is does anyone own a Kensington and can give us any thoughts ideas or things to look at ,we will be inspecting it tomorrow .
In general can anyone gives us some simple helpful hints to watch out for of a costly nature regarding second hand vans.
lots of info in here if you do a search. Ask a question if you cannot find an answer by searching. Lots of helpful people in here only too willing to assist.
Pop your question into the General section of the forum where it will get a better response.
The polo shirts in the shop are really good quality, look great and are very comfortable too although you may not like wearing clothes too often.
enjoy the playground we call Australia.
I am sure the chief of cheer will be along soon to welcome you as well.

Welcome to the gang Rasty, enjoy here and out in the playground.
The only thing I could suggest is look for leeks around hatches and windows. Try and get one already set up with Solar and good size batteries. Oh! Heaps of plugs, like, 240v, 12v and even Anderson Plug inside and out. I never gave it a thought but have just fitted a Anderson Plug to the R/H (road) side of van. Very handy and is already proving invaluable.
Another thing is make sure all cabling is of good size including from fridge to tug, also invaluable.
Keep Safe on the roads.
