No Swoofer, but the gates are closed on New Year's eve and everyone has to vacate the area. They are reopen early January and other will be able to give you exact dates.
At a meeting re the lake couple of years ago - it was stated that six months was the time limit for people to camp there. They don't police it, but have the right to move people on if they wish - a lot of places with time limits won't move people on, especially in quiet times, but they have the right to do so, by stating a time limit.

I ran into a bloke in Bendigo on my way home & had a bit of a chat with him about Greens Lake. He is from nearby & has been going there for 20 years fishing & skiing.
He said camping was never allowed until a few years ago & then they were turning up & couldn't get near the lake at the boat ramp which they are disappointed with
I get the impression that they would be happy for the lake to revert to no camping again & maybe would push the local council to achieve this.
Maybe if the boat ramp area was kept clear & the long term campers were further away the skiers would be happy?
The regulars probably have heard all this before & know more about the local skiers than the one bloke I spoke to.
Attached is the Greens Lake Management Plan - Nov 2013 - for information.
These snips are from that document -
There is no indication if, or whether, any of the proposed actions will be brought to fruition. However, given the popularity of the reserve, resulting in large numbers of campers using the area (for varying lengths of time), I feel it is inevitable.
