introducton and light rigid licence

Hi All

I'm new to the  forum, I really enjoy reading all the comments.

I have a question that I'm hoping  someone will be able to provide some answers to.

We are from the Hunter Valley. We bought a motorhome which requires an LR licence.

I am able to drive the vehicle in NSW provided my husband  (who has a truck licence) is with me. In other states, an L plate or driver under instruction sign is required, and that's only in Qld  and Vic. Don't know about the other states.

What I'm trying to find out is where I could go to get my licence using the motothome. I don't want to go to the truck training schools as I only need an LR licence for the motorhome.

I would appreciae any advice.

Thanks from Col

In Queensland you can get your licence with your motorhome , But must fill out a form to use your motorhome to cover the testing officer if they have to take control and drive if they decide you are unfit to keep driving .
