After a trying 11 months back in NZ trying (and sometimes succeeding) to drum senior Physics into the heads of high school students in the Bay of Islands I am now back in The Land of the Truly Free. I am tonight in Kyogle in Northern Rivers NSW and will be around the Byron Bay area for a few days before heading south to Cobram on the Murray in Northern Victoria for work in mid January. If you see an old van towed by an old Nissan, with PLODNALONG written on top, on the road then flash your lights and beep your horn. I will then panic and think the van has come loose or something. If you see me parked up then come and say Hi and I will offer you a glass of port. I met a lovely lady today (not on here) who had bumped into PLODNALONG 3 years ago up at Fletchers Creek near Charters Towers and it was good to have the chat. Maybe I should hit Greens before Cobram? Looking forward to meeting some of you again and many of you for the first time.
Andy

Back at work now in Cobram. The fruit season has started and the heat has been brutal, especially yesterday with over 35 degrees in the van when I went to bed. But the fruit is good and hopefully we will all make some good travelling money. Oh how I envy all you pensioners out there collecting your (well deserved and earned) pension cheques and sitting by a creek reading and fishing or whatever you choose to do in this beautiful huge land.
